How we review corrections

Submitted corrections go to our editorial team. We verify each claim against trusted sources before accepting it. Accepted corrections are applied to the live article, and we may credit contributors on our corrections leaderboard.

Significant corrections

For corrections that change the substance of a story, we add a visible note explaining the update so readers understand what was changed and why.
